Company News: Rapids Data Attended 2019 Strata Data Conference in San Francisco

San Jose, CA – April 1, 2019: RapidsDB is a distributed, federating query system with a built-in high performance in-memory RDBMS, that scales to hundreds of nodes and can be deployed on premises or in the cloud. It provides the ability to integrate and share live data across a wide variety of sources, including traditional relational databases, streaming data, Hadoop/HDFS and more, using a common vendor-neutral dialect of SQL.

Rapids Data Technology Co. Ltd. (Rapids Data) attended the 2019 Strata Data Conference in San Francisco between March 26th and March 28th, 2019. The company is planning to release its updated version of RapidsDB by the end of May, 2019. With this latest R4.0 version,  RapidsDB is moving forward with the "Radical Live Integration". As a high performance system for integrating data from disparate sources, both old and new, RapidsDB envisions an end to the slow and inflexible “ETL/ELT” model for extracting value from heterogeneous data. It moves beyond the antiquated “Extract and Load” model and opens the way to a “Live Integrated Query” mindset, yet embraces the reality of legacy data and provides a powerful and flexible tool for integrating it.

Strata Data Conference was created in 2012 and it is where cutting-edge science and new business fundamentals intersect and merge. RapidsDB, as a fully parallel, distributed, in-memory federated query system designed to support complex analytical SQL queries, adds its unique value to the dynamic ecosystem of the big data technology world.

During the conference, RapidsDB received a lot of attention from international experts with big data backgrounds in data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, data security, Hadoop development and so forth. Dowson Liu, President and CTO of Rapids Data also interviewed with several news media and shared his vision of leveraging data value to build real-time enterprises.
